No, it does not replace mascara use. We recommend using Lush Lash in the evening, after you have removed your eye makeup; apply it to the base of the eyelid - not on the lashes. However, if you apply Lush Lash in the morning, please allow at least 5 minutes before applying your daily facial products or mascara. When used as directed, Lush Lash should not interfere with mascara use.
Although thoroughly tested by Dermatologists, we understand that allergic reactions can happen for a variety of reasons. As with any product, we recommend you do a skin patch test in a discrete spot - preferably your inner forearm. Patch testing is a way of determining if a product that comes in contact with the skin will cause inflammation of the skin, known as contact dermatitis. If you have extremely sensitive and allergic skin, it’s always recommended to do a patch test for compatibility prior to using any new products.
In general, the reaction is called ‘allergic contact dermatitis’. This is an allergic reaction to a substance (or group related substances) referred to as an allergen. An allergy is a hypersensitivity or oversensitivity to a particular substance involving the immune system. When allergic contact dermatitis exists, a rash will develop. If a rash develops, stop using the product immediately, clean the area removing the product from the skin, and the rash will disappear. If conditions persist, call you medical provider.
